Hoodie Allen - Happy Camper

This item is a t-shirt from the very first concert that I ever went to. I went to see Hoodie Allen on his Happy Camper tour in Muffathalle in Munich, Germany. The concert was on the 22nd of August 2016. The album that the tour focused on was his 9th studio release and 2nd studio album overall. I went to the concert with two of my best friends on the first day of 10th grade. It was an experience that I will never forget and I have this t-shirt to remember that by.

The shirt design is mostly black and yellow with some white text on the back. The front design features a smiley face where it seems like the paint is dripping off of its face. There is a smaller version of this design on the back of the shirt as well alongside all of the European tour locations.

Green Day - Revolution Radio

This object is a t-shirt from a Green Day concert that I went to on the 7th of June 2017. The concert took place at Olympiahalle in MunichIt was the first concert I went to in a such a large stadium and it was a completely new experience to me. I was there with five other friends and we sat on the seats on the right side of the stadium. The album “Revolution Radio” was what got me back into punk-pop/punk-rock music and this concert is a big reason to thank for that.

This shirt design features the band and album name on the front accompanied by a radio that is on fire, representing the “revolution”. The back of the shirt once again features the band and album name along with all of the tour locations and dates for the European part of the world tour.

All Time Low - The Young Renegades

This object is a t-shirt from an All Time Low concert. It took place on the 15th of October in 2017. Originally, I was not all that interested in going to this concert, but the friend I went to the Blink-182 concert with me bought me a ticket and convinced me to come. It was held at a relatively small and underground venue known as Backstage Werk in Munich. This concert ended up being my favourite of all time and the band is now my favourite of all time as well. So, the significance of this single event is very evident.

This shirt features a picture of all four band members in the front standing in front of what looks like an upside-down city shrouded in red, then encompassed in a light blue cross. The primary colours in this design are red and blue and this is shown all throughout the design. We can see other features such as the band’s name, tour name and the bands logo, which is the spade design you can see on the front and back.

Against the Current - Strangers Again

TThis object is a long sleeve tee from the band Against the Current. This band was an opener for the Fall Out Boy concert which happened at Zenith in Munich on the 8th of April 2018. Against the Current is a band that I have known about since 2011 when they were just a cover band on YouTube. So, to see them in concert all those years later was an amazing experience.

I really like this long sleeve tee. I think the simple white and red colour palette works really well and I am in love with the design on the front. Also on the right sleeve you can see the phrase “Lets just be strangers again” which is the hook from one of their songs on the album that released shortly after this concert date.

Fall Out Boy - MANIA

This object is t-shirt from a Fall Out Boy concert. As stated from the post above it was located at Zenith in Munich and happened on the 8th of April 2018. Fall Out Boys last studio album MANIA is heavily criticised and many feels that it is a major disappointment because it strays away from the bands original sound. While I agree that it is different, I still like all of the songs on the album and still listen to most of them even till this day. Otherwise this concert was one of the best I’ve been to because of the amazing performance abilities of not jut FOB but also the openings acts Against the Current and MAX.

This is one of the more unique concert shirts I have, as it does not look like a concert shit at all. It is actually quite “regular” and could be seen as a design from any store. I actually really like the designs on the front and back and really enjoy the colour of purple that they decided to go with.

Good Charlotte - Generation Rx

TThis object is a t-shirt from a Good Charlotte concert that took place on the 4th of February 2019. It was also located at Zenith in Munich. Good Charlotte is a band that also holds a special place in my heart as their album Cardiology is one that I have listened to when I was much younger. Generation Rx is not necessarily an album I find extremely good but during the concert they played all of their most famous hits from the years which made the experience enjoyable nonetheless.

Similarly, to All Time Low this shirt features a picture of all the band members. The colour choices of black blue and silver/white works really well on this shirt and gives off a grunge vibe that is very cool. The font used for the band name is also very well chosen, working extremely well on both the front and the back of the shirt.

Hoodie Allen - Live in Europe

This object is a long sleeve tee from another Hoodie Allen concert. The concert was on the 18th of March 2019. It took place at Ampere, Muffatwerk in Munich. This is the last concert I have been to. Seeing an artist that I saw nearly 3 years ago again was a great experience. Instead of just standing in the back listening like I did at the first concert I got involved and enjoyed myself to the fullest. Hoodie Allen is easily one of my favourite artists of all time so going to his concert again was an easy decision to make.

This is my favourite piece of concert apparel of all time. It is an extremely comfortable long sleeve tee that has a salmon like colour with a hoodie head design in white on the front and the phrases “Hoodie Allen” and “Live in Europe” on either sleeve. I actually got to this concert late and this was the last piece of merchandise available so I got lucky and what makes it even more special is that it is signed by Hoodie himself. There are so many things I love about this item.
